This thoughtful brand creation for a range of adaptogenic supplements was inspired by the product’s ability to support the body’s natural resilience through timeless plant wisdom. We crafted a strategic positioning around the philosophy of Bend, Don’t Break, evoking the truth that the reed that bends with the wind is stronger than the rigid oak that breaks in a storm, then created a design to reflect that idea of pliable flexibility.


LIFESTYLE INSPIRED BLENDS
We created the brand name as a descriptive job title to communicate the care and expertise that goes into each of The Herbtender’s lifestyle-inspired blends, and went on to develop product names for the blends themselves, from Rise & Shine to Doze & Dream, and Calm & Collected to Focus & Clarity. Celebrating the adaptogenic ingredients themselves was key, and they are captured in photography as beautifully sculptured arrangements, emphasising their naturalness and almost mystical power.
GO WITH THE FLOW
The visual identity encompasses a curvaceous monogrammatic logo that acts as an ownable shape across the whole brand world. A bespoke ‘acid olive’ colour acts as a key brand asset, communicating naturalness in a contemporary and ownable way.


NATURAL RESILIENCE
Naturalness is present throughout the brand to reflect that the supplements are clean, plant-based and free from fillers, colorants, preservatives and sweeteners. A free and flowing illustration style by Aron Leah complements the natural feel, while emphasising the brand’s desire for people to combat stress by truly embracing life, and feeling empowered to be resilient and self-reliant.
