Nestlé’s tea machine and capsule system boasted a beautiful online and above-the-line world, but was being let down by unexceptional packaging. In collaboration with the advertising agency, we distilled and re-expressed their imagery for pack, ensuring continuity while recognising the more challenging in-store environment. The result has brought continuity across multiple international markets and created clearer segmentation, easier navigation and empowered future ranges and limited editions.

SUSTAINABILITY

To achieve the unparalleled premium tea experience on pack in the most sustainable way we created a proofing profile that allowed for a more predictable printing environment and, therefore, a more efficient printing set-up, wasting less material, ink and energy. The move from virgin card to recycled board also made the packs significantly more sustainable and enables the box to be recycled.

The result has brought sustainability benefits with 50% less cardboard used as well as sustained commercial performance. The design has been awarded Overall Best Packaging at the Global Nestlé Packaging Awards.
