Our refresh for Baci – Nestlé’s much-loved heritage chocolate brand – is designed to help reignite its status as a true Italian icon. While recent design iterations had purposefully made this 100-year-old Italian brand feel more global, our work has restored its authenticity by decluttering the pack of generic visual elements, crafting and simplifying the flamboyant Italian logo, and adding in greater craft cues and a more confident personality.




Baci is synonymous with love in Italy, and symbolises the giving and receiving of a kiss. As well as heroing the famous shape of the Baci chocolate by elevating it as an iconic visual equity, we embraced the love note that accompanies each chocolate, returning it to the Italian language with a single English translation to enable greater readability and authenticity.
